Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Location: Wawa, Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description / Key Requirement

Design, implement, maintain, and improve electrical instruments, equipment, facilities, components.
Prepare and study technical drawings; design and install star/delta electric motors, Forward & Reverse wiring of motor, in accordance to specifications of electrical systems and conform to standards.
Plan layout of electric power generating plants and distribution lines and stations.
Direct, coordinate and perform Electrical Installations, maintenance, support, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications.
Ensure all completed installations and operations are in conformance to design and equipment specifications and in compliance with operational and safety standards.
Prepare specifications for purchase of electrical/maintenance materials and equipment
Perform quality and performance analysis on the IT systems.
Monitor and perform maintenance and inspection of plant machineries
– Should be Technically sound in the maintenance of plants equipments like; Air compressors, Generator, electrical motor bearing etc.

Qualification / Skills

A Degree in Electrical Engineering
Proven expertise as a Senior Electrical Engineer with minimum 6 years experience
Deep knowledge of electrical manufacturing processes
Minimum of 4 years’ manufacturing experience
Industrial electrical maintenance skill/troubleshooting of control panel etc.
Understanding of electrical engineering codes and safety standards
Understanding of Lean Six Sigma principles in manufacturing
Computer literacy especially in MS Office suites. (SAP/SAGE or other ERP knowledge is an advantage)
Strong organizational and communication skills
Problem-solving abilities
Attention to detail.
