Job Title: Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Officer
Location: Katsina
Overall, Job Purpose
- The Monitoring & Evaluation Officer supports the implementation of monitoring and evaluation activities within specific projects to ensure data-driven decision- making and program effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree / HND in Mathematics, Statistics, Social Sciences, or related fields; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 – 5 years’ experience in monitoring and evaluation with at least 3 years in a managerial role within an NGO setting.
- Proven ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and deliver high- quality work within deadlines.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills with a commitment to staff development and capacity building.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Must be resident in Katsina state.
- Proficiency in statistical software such as Excel, SPSS, Stata, or EPIinfo.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is an advantage.
