AMA-ZUMA GROUP is seeking an experienced Head of Accountant & Finance to oversee and enhance the financial health of the organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial strategy, budgeting, compliance, and ensuring the company maximizes opportunities in the downstream oil & gas sector.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Head of Account & Finance

Responsibilities

Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with business objectives.
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for optimal decision-making.
Ensure compliance with tax laws, financial regulations, and industry standards.
Manage financial reporting, cash flow, and risk management.
Supervise and mentor the finance team to enhance operational efficiency.
Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize investment and funding strategies.
Conduct financial analysis to support restructuring efforts in the oil & gas business.
Oversee cost management and internal controls to maintain financial integrity.

Requirements

BSc / MSc in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (ICAN/ACCA certification required).
Minimum of 15 years of experience in Accounting & Finance, preferably in Oil & Gas, Engineering, or Financial Services.
Strong knowledge of financial regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements.
Expertise in financial reporting, ERP systems, and risk management. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to drive financial strategy and business growth in a dynamic industry.
