Job Description

• A Business Development Officer focuses on driving company growth by identifying new opportunities, building relationships, and implementing strategies to increase revenue and market share.
• They may also be involved in market research, developing business plans, and managing partnerships.

Key Responsibilities
Identifying and Developing New Business Opportunities:

• This involves researching markets, identifying potential clients, and developing strategies to acquire new business.

Building and Maintaining Client Relationships:

• Nurturing existing client relationships and developing new ones through effective communication, networking, and relationship management.

Developing and Implementing Business Plans:

• Creating and executing strategies to achieve business goals, including market expansion, product launches, and revenue growth.

Negotiating and Closing Deals:

• Working with potential clients to understand their needs, present solutions, and negotiate contracts to secure business.

Analyzing Market Trends:

• Staying up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to inform business decisions.

Collaborating with Internal Teams:

• Working with sales, marketing, and other departments to ensure alignment and effective execution of business development initiatives.

Managing and Reporting on Business Performance:

• Tracking key metrics, analyzing results, and reporting on the effectiveness of business development efforts.

Qualifications

• Candidates should have an HND / Bachelor’s Degree
• 3 – 4 years work experience
